Fulcrum

Fulcrum systems are based on the scissor mechanism, a basic and powerful type of linkage also known as a pantograph. Fulcrum's patent-pending modifications to scissor linkages unleash myriad possibilities, including fully integrated cladding. Synchronous locking mechanisms enable folding linkages to stiffen into rigid trusses and space frames. As a result of the innovations, Fulcrum systems can transform the built environment in ways that were previously impractical or impossible.

The three classes of Fulcrum

Each class is comprised of multiple system types.

Fulcrum F1 is well-suited to applications such as folding partitions, slabs and shelters.

Fulcrum F2 is well-suited for applications such as folding stages and riser systems.

Fulcrum F3 is suitable for applications with relatively long spans.
